Complimenting Vases

My cylinders were about 6 or 7 inches tall, but each vase failed in a different way and I had to cut off the tops. As a result, both vases are less dramatic than I had hoped (the skinny parts would have been way taller).  They were supposed to be of opposite shapes, and if you flipped one over they would look similar or identical.  The cut lines are meant to draw attention to the fact that the top shape of one is similar to the bottom shape of the other.  To take it further I could have painted half of one one color and the opposite half of the other one that color.
